Wardrobe Suggestions
FOR A SMOOTH SHOOT DAY

A quick reference guide so you come to your shoot feeling confident, prepared, and ready for an amazing session.
These are general tips, and everything won't apply to you, but there may be a tip (or two) here that really makes a difference.
Rules To Follow
you should be the focus
When it comes to the ideal brand wardrobe, the rule-of-thumb is to choose clothing that exemplifies your style and solidifies your positioning, while keeping the focus on YOU. Statement pieces and vibrant colors are fine, but keep the cut and/or pattern simple. Your clothes should be logo-free and minimize busy prints.
Rules To Break
leave room for magic
Though your outfit choices will focus on clear brand reinforcement, please leave room for magic, whimsy, and sentimentality. If there's a fabulous piece in the back of your closet you've never worn, bring it! If there's a family heirloom you want to incorporate, that symbolism matters. These personal touches matter to your story.

TIP #1
Your Color Palette
We'll use your current brand color palette to ensure your images complement it. If you don't have a color palette, I can help you choose one, or we can opt for a neutral color palette for maximum versatility.
TIP #2

Layers for The Win
Layering your clothing with blazers, sweaters, and jackets/coats adds polish. For added panache, opt for a three-piece suit. These intentional choices allow us to capture a wide variety of looks from each outfit.
TIP #3
Random Bonus Tips
Undergarments in nude and the color of your outfits usually come in handy. Prioritize wrinkle-resistant pieces, but never over style. Sumptuous textures & monochromatic tones add depth to your images.
TIP #4

Strictly For the Gents
All facial hair should be groomed. If you wish to have a groomed look and then shave for a clean-cut look, please bring your shaving kit and mention this to me beforehand. *Available for multiple outfit sessions.

All About Accessories
head-to-toe polish
To maximize your outfits/looks, choose accessories (along with layers) to add versatility. Your jewelry should be statement pieces, and your shoe game should be strong. Scarves, hats, purses, belts, gloves, and shades always add a touch of glamour.
A Well-Rounded Story
all the little details
Props for branding sessions: phones & laptops, briefcases, planners, books, coffee mugs, eyeglasses, etc. Whether it's a mug with your logo, your favorite pen, company brochures, or a simple name tag, props can dramatically reinforce your brand's recognition.

TIP #1
The Day Before
The day before your shoot is perfect for a massage, a relaxing bath, or yoga/pilates, etc. Whatever makes you feel centered and grounded in your body. Eat healthy, hydrate, moisturize, and get plenty of rest.
TIP #2

Wear Comfy Clothes
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. A top that buttons or zips up makes it easy to change clothes without disturbing your makeup/hair. Comfy slippers make the day easier on your feet.
TIP #3
Do One Last Check
Do a final inventory of your wardrobe, shoes, accessories, and props. One final run-through of everything can save you from forgetting an important item. Having a checklist is ideal.
TIP #4

Plan The After-Party
You'll look and feel great after your session. It's the perfect time to step out on the town and celebrate! Whether you opt for a delicious meal ( you will work up an appetite) or a little Atlanta nightlife, enjoy!
Wardrobe For Teams
For teams and groups, we build on the same rules that apply to solo-branding sessions by first focusing on brand continuity, while also creating space for individual strengths and style to be showcased.
